High School help?
my son has math lab its his freshman year and i dont think he really needs it he has algebra 1 which he took last year
can you get out of math lab?

Try talking to the principal, the school secretary, or his math lab teacher. It really depends on the grades he had last year. If you think he can handle a higher math level, ask to put him into Geometry instead. Otherwise, if he barely passed Algebra 1, and had to repeat it this year, then the math lab would really help him, and it’s best for him to stay in that class, in order to pass it with proficiency this year.
If he’s just not ready for Geometry and can handle Algebra 1 by himself, talk to his teacher/principal with your son. Face to face discussion really helps, especially when a parent requests (getting out of) the class.
