Graphic Design or Fashion Merch??
I’m in quite a predicament. I can’t make up my mind! My mother just opened a high end children’s clothing store from Spain which is th efirst in the USA and I am working with her and it is very successful! So i was thinking maybe I should go into Fashion Merchandising Management? BUT I have been finishing an associates in Graphic Design at my local community college. And I really like it but I worry about getting a decent paying job after graduation.
I want to get a Bachelors but in what!?? Graphic design or fashion merchandising or is there a happy medium I can take? maybe something in the graphic design/marketing/advertising field! I am so confused!

Just simply ask yourself…”Do I love Shopping and picking out merchandise or do I love designing more? In the long run…if you would feel better knowing that people have chose to wear the merchandise you picked , then choose Fashion Merchandiser. If you would feel better knowing that your design was chosen (whatever you design) then choose Graphic Designer. Bottom line, you have to love what yo do in order to be great in it, choose the one that you have more passion towards to. Sometimes money isn’t all about what makes you love your job. Good Luck!

If your mother’s business is successful, you may not have to worry as much about money! ^_^ In your case, I would do what I love because it sounds like you might not be completely financially unstable. Not that we should live off our parents forever or whatever, but at least you won’t be stuck out. But if you think you want to work with your mother on a long-term basis, or keep working in that type of area, then the BA in Fashion Merchandising would be helpful.
I thought about doing that myself. Shoot, I’m about to go check it out again since we’re talking about it lol.

green Day has some incredibly rad merch. yet its way too expensive. on the excursion i think of it became around $35 for a T-shirt! I in basic terms bought a T-shirt for The Maine… it has lyrics on it, so i became like “ehh why no longer” i admire getting some variety of memorabilia from shows, ideally shirts. it incredibly is been no longer uncomplicated attempting to discover stunning ones.
