GPA question?

I just recently signed up to go back to college. I have three zero’s because i did not “drop” the classes I just stopped going (this was 6 years ago). Now that I am going back are those zero’s going to negatively effect my GPA, or do they only use to actual classes included in your degree plan to get your GPA?

If you are going to the same school it will effect your GPA.

If they were all in the same semester you may want to check with your school, some colleges and Universities have a semester forgiveness policy in which you can apply and they will take a ful semester off of your transcript. When they do this it is like you never took the class in the first place and it won’t bother your GPA because of it.

I would suggest going back to the school where the 0’s are recorded and see if you can negotiate them being removed. If there were circumstances that you can share, it might be worth it. The 0’s will affect your GPA.
