GPA going from Middle School to High School stay the same?
My sister is a freshy(freshman) at a local high school. Her GPA in middle school was 3.7. Does she start off at that GPA when she enters high school? Or do they start everyone out at 2.0? Or do they give everyone an A in each class which is a perfect 4.0. Then as the school year continues the grade drops. I forgot, I feel so dumb, but I need to know. More detail will help, thanks.

You start all over my friend! You do not even “get” a 2.0, you have to earn your GPA. Her GPA will be determined by whatever grades she gets in her first trimester.
If she gets straight A’s, she’ll have a 4.0, she gets A’s and B’s it will be lower. It’s that simple.
