Early Graduation; is it worth it?

I’m currently a junior in high school, and I am trying to graduate this year instead of my senior year. I’m sick of all the drama, and honestly, I think I’m much too mature to be there any longer than I have to. Anyway, my question is for anyone who has graduated early, I just want to know if it’s worth it? Should I continue with it, and do the extra work? As of now I’m planning on going to college right away, but who knows? Thanks.

I didn’t graduate early, but to me it sounds like you are very mature for ur age and are ready to move foward. From what I hear, it seems like you are more than ready for the next step and I think, for you, it will be well worth it. The sooner for you the better.

Does your High School by chance offer Secondary Enrollment options that allow you to take college classes while still enrolled at the high school? I know that former high school offered a number of low level classes like English Comp and basic math through college algebra where you just took the classes during the day or night. While you may be wondering “Why in the hell would I want to do that?” there were a few perks at my school such as the fact that they payed for all the classes, you got the official college credit (just like an AP course), and you usually only had like 2 classes (or less) each day that were actually at the High School.

You will miss out on some of the actives that go with being a senior and those memories you will cherish later on in life.

If you are bored then take a class or 2 at night in a community college.
