Could someone tell me what kind of health exams are required by nurses?

I wanted to be a nurse but I have hsv-2. Could I still pursue my goal?

Sure–I don’t know why it would stand in your way. It depends on where you work, but you usually just have a physical on hire to a new job, unless something happens (injury, etc) to warrant another. However, you must use universal precautions as a nurse to protect your patients…HSV-2 is spread by sexual contact–so that should not be a problem. You should be diligent to keep your infection under control, if it flares up. There may be certain types of patients you are unable to work with (immunosuppressed). Consult with your physician–he should know the answers to all this, but I would think that hsv-2 would not stand in your way.

Sorry u got lots to learn about the USA immigration systems and the cost to get in. your nursing degree may not qualify for licensing in any state. you definitely would b on bottom of hiring list with out any experience. you may get insurance for u at work, u may not. your kids may not be allowed to come. you would need at least a few thousand $ to survive until u can get licensed and work. stay in UK , get experience, save money, learn how to get here.
