Slavery has had a huge effect, not only in the European colonies, but throughout the entire populated world. This is because of several effects such as the creation of a cycle of hatred between slave and master and master and slave, unfair treatment of one’s fellowman leaving a lasting, indelible imprint on the psyche of human culture, and an undeserved air of superiority by the offending culture or class and the hereditary passing on of this egotistical defect throughout progressive generations.

Slavery in the European Colonies made a huge impact in a variety of ways worldwide including, the example set for other nations being a slave bearing country, the morally questionable economic advantages these colonies enjoyed, some of which they are still profiting from and the undeniable acts racism and hate that for many people defined the era.
