A few days ago
writing 2 paragraphs for french about flattery and compliments and i need a little help…?
2 paragraphs.
7-9 sentences each.
what is something someone might say to you that would make you feel flattered? what is the difference between a compliment and flattery?
im not asking you to write it for me i just need some ideas. please dont say the same thing everybody says. mix it up a bit. thanks guys. =]

Flattery is not necessarily true and may be insincere and exaggerated, while a compliment is true and is meant sincerely.
For example, if someone told me that my cooking is divine, and there is no chef in the world who could outdo me, I would know that was flattery. If someone told me that I had just prepared an excellent meal and that he really enjoyed it, I would know that was a compliment.
