Why is it more important to…?

Why is it more important to save animals that are higher on the food chain rather than animals lower on the food chain?

That is one point of view, one that I dont agree on, but I think its because if they get extinct, the ones in the lower section would overpopulate, and the ones on the very very low part would be extinct too. Something like that, it would make the whole food chain crumble. Personally, I don’t agree, but that’s what they beleive (I think)

I don’t really agree (because everything should be equally important), but for a school answer, because basically they are more dominant. However, if you killed the lower animals, what would the higher ones eat?
