Whats a good/creative title for a paper about the perfect self image?
Also.. for this paper, the instructions are to consider a concept that is currently being tossed around and stop and re-examine the word and to redefine through examples. Im not asking you to write my paper, but can someone give me some insight?
Favorite Answer
Cosmetic surgery- boob jobs, tummy tucks, nose jobs, etc.
Being stick thin–as portrayed thru media
And I suggest you kind of start backwards with a paper. Write your Intro and Conclusion first, then fill in the details in the middle. Once you finish the writing portion then you can think of a relative title.
As for concepts, why not redefine the words “pretty” and “beautiful” by using different culture’s views of what is pretty and beautiful to them. Try to get views from all around the world.
Jamie lynn isn’t sending any message. its her own life, and you shouldn’t get involved with what she does.
hell, even just “Pride” is good.
or “Dying to be Perfect”
(You could do it about Anorexia and Bulmia, these abbreviations are often what society uses to talk about eating disorders, you can do it on how hollywood has influenced women to get a distorted image of their bodies.)
Introductory Thesis:
Young women are often influenced by what they read and hear though the media. The media often presents images of
Hollywoods most gorgeous people, but to obtain that perfect image often they go through the most intense methods to obtain them. Because of this society often gets a very distorted view of what is considered a normal body image and thus restort to measures such extreme dieiting, plastic surgery, and extreme excersing. (end of thesis, you are introducing what you will talk about here).
1st paragragh-
Recent events in the have surrounded us with images of the Olsen twins, and Brittney spears who appear devastingly thin and are in recovery programs to deal with their eating disorders, such as anorexia nervosa and bulmia.
(Now you can take over and do the research.)
