Freund thought that dreams are the subconsious’s desires. However, all psychologists today say that is pretty much not true. Some say dreams are random pictures and images flying through your mind. So as this happens, a human’s mind naturally tries to make sense out of it. Gestalt psychology talks about making out patterns when it is not meant to be. If you think about this, alot of people’s dreams are really strange so a random pattern of combined images somewhat makes sense. i think if you think about something more before you go to sleep it is more likely to be in your dreams. Dreams are something that scientists have a hard time figuring out which is why I could see you putting this in the philosophy section.
