What should we answer when we got to speak on favourite colour?
Favorite Answer
Many colors have meanings to them….
Blue is a calming and relaxing color. Science has proven that people eat less food off of blue plates.
Neon electric orange is a very vivid color, people who like neon electric orange are usually vivacioius people who aren’t necessarily calm.
Black represents both calm and peace, but also death.
My standard answer to the favorite color thing (only because I hate the ‘get into my head’ stuff about it) is that I’ll say my favorite color is blue. Police uniforms are blue (my profession), the gorgeous night sky is blue, my eyes are blue and they’re the only eyes I’ve ever had. Water seems to be blue at a distance, and there is nothing more refreshing than a good swim across a lake. My godchild is a little boy and he’s always wearing blue, and it makes me happy to think of him.
(my favorite color is actually black, but too many people are worried about the darkness of our youth and society today to be very open or diplomatic about that color)
So, when you speak of your favorite color, be ready to discuss the reasons why you like the color, more than its aesthetic appeal. π
Good Luck.
For a normal question, give the (colour, so you are a Brit or a Canadian eh?, color in Yankee land), and the reason for your choice.
If you are going to make a speech, drag it out a bit but don’t say the colour YET, first get their attention by making them think that an important revelation is about to be heard, then think of a funny story on how you came up with a choice, then name the colour. Drag it out more if you must.
