The way I made good grades was three-fold – do a little work each day, pay attention in class and do your homework, and third, start on projects/studying early. You’re probably doing some of that now, but I’ll explain. For the first one, don’t cram whether it’s studying the night before a test or doing a big assignment when you’ve had a week to do it. Space your work out. For the second one, listen in class and take good notes (obvious, but some don’t do this). And third, start working on a long project early to give you plenty of time for a good job, at least a week out if not more.

This really worked for me, and I did very well in school (graduated 2nd in high school). It’s all about being prepared and actively participating in class. Good luck.

Im not sure what that is, but i am assuming it is like honor role. I would just do the best you can and not worry about making it on the top. I was always satisfied with just passing in highschool. Just do your best then you dont have to stress if you dont make it because you know you did what you could. You will still get a great job. When you die know one is going to care that you were on honor role anyway. Good luck i hope i helped.

Colleges really don’t care about rank. They look heavily upon your high school transcript. Yes, they care about your GPA. But if they see that you’ve taken AP/Advanced/Honors classes in place of regular classes, they’d rather see that with a 92.31 GPA over someone who takes regular classes all the time with a 99.56 GPA. Look, don’t stress out over this. You have two more years. I promise you, it’s not that big of a deal over ranking. It’s just for graduation. Just take challenging classes, but not too hard. Don’t stress 🙂
