I assume you are asking for news (note that “news” has an entirely different meaning than “new”) stories that are related to social studies. The problem here is that we (the Yahoo! public) have no way of knowing what you are studying in your SS class at this time.

You need to go to www.yahoo.com and click on “news” instead of “web” for your search. Then do a search for something you have been talking about in your SS class. For example, you could put in something like “culture southeast asia” and then see what pops up. You should get lots of good articles to choose from.
