what is ur experience in using sparknotes? have u ever gotten an “A” using sparknotes?

i have to read 3 books: turn of the screw, song of solomon, death in venice and i dont have time 2 finish them (i have ap hw…chem.bio.etc, and its a TON). what’s ur experience with sparknotes? will it be good enough to get me an “A” if i read sparknotes and other websites like that and also skim the novels? i think this is all i have time for anyways, but im just looking for (hopefully) reassurance or guidance to a better idea on how to study. i have never pulled “allnighters” or anything like that and i have problems reading in the night because i always doze off. HELP please?

in my experience, spark notes were good but never good enough for me to get an A. it gives you a good idea what is going on in the book and what happened, but my teachers always aimed questions that you couldnt find in spark notes and it was really things that you would have needed to read the book to really know the answer, meaning that i could never rely just on spark notes
