(9-5)/(2-4)

= 4/-2

= -2

m= 5-9/4-2

= -4/2

= -2

the slope formula:

m=y sub2 – y sub1/ x sub2- xsub1

I might have mixed up subs 2&1, but it doesn’t matter so long as you don’t mix it up so that the x’s r over the y’s
