What is the radius of a circle that has a circumference of 32 meters?
Favorite Answer
32 = 2*pi*r
in order to get r, we have to get rid of all the other parts of the equation, so in order to get rid of 2, we have to divide the other side of the equation by 2.
32/2 = 16
16=pi*r
pi = 3.14
16 = 3.14 * r
16/3.14 = r
so divide it.
5.09 =~ 5.09. or just right
16/pi = r
but use the pi symbol and right it as a fraction, which is acceptable too.
The Circumference is proportional to 2 times pi times the radius.
the formula for circumference of a circle is pi X diameter, or 2 X pi X radius.
just plug in.
much easier to solve on your own than post it online
r=32/(2*pi)
r=16/(pi)
radius =16/pi m
pi=3.142 or(22/7)
if u dont understand….ask your teacher.
