this speech choir is important for us because we want to have a nice grade than our team mates….please suggest a nice piece for our speech choir..thank you very much…

I recommend ‘Casablanca’. It’s my favorite piece for a speech choir competition. It’s not that long (not hard to memorize), and there are lots of scenes where you can incorporate sound effects, and hand and facial gestures.
It’s not the piece that wins you and your group an award, it is how you present it.

TIPS:
(a) first read the piece. practice pronunciation and delivery.
you could make use of marks to indicate the actions (like the symbol / meaning pause)
(b) try to have the piece memorized (paragraph by paragraph) and as memorizing, think of actions that could go with the text
(c) practice the whole piece first by reading, then reading with emotion plus actions, next do the piece without reading, then with the gestures
(d) practice! practice!
