Maybe something like “In the End, We’re All Human” or maybe “Marriage: A Union Defined By Love, Not Gender.” (And, hey, if you wanna bring up the “sanctity of marriage” argument, I’d say “who defines what the sanctity of marriage is, anyway , and why should we be obligated to conform to their opinion” or maybe bring up straight marriages made out of lust, or convenience, or as jokes, or for money. Britney Spears and Anna Nicole Smith would be great places to start. But this is about picking a title, and good on you for being in support of, really, people being treated equally as we all should be.)

I tend to write papers with smarmy titles. My final for my Islamic Studies class was called “All Muslims are Terrorists!: Anti-Islamic Sentiment in the United States”

I also like parenthesis.

I’d go with “Gay Men Need Bridal Registries: The Legal and Socal Controversy of Gay Marriage”

Or “Heather’s Mommies Should be Legal: The Long Road to Marital Equality”

Something like that. But that’s because I myself am smarmy.

Making it Work for Adam and Steve

You should write your paper on why they should NOT be allowed and title your paper:

“1 Man + 1 Woman = Marriage!”

With a sub-caption: “Adam and Eve, Not Adam and Steve.”

Guaranteed, your liberal teacher or egghead professor would try to ban your freedom of speech, give you a flunking grade or get you kicked out. Nevertheless, this would be a great way for you to build character, instead of going along with liberalism and agreeing with The Homosexual Agenda.

Bear in mind that homosexuals ALREADY HAVE the same equal rights as everyone else, including the right to marry according to what marriage is. And like everyone else, they don’t have the right to marry according to what a marriage ISN’T. That would be a SPECIAL right, not an equal one that they already have.

Just because necrophiliacs might want to marry a corpse, or animal lovers might want to marry their dog, that does not mean that we’re going to cave in and grant that ridiculous special right, when they already have equal rights to marry according to what a marriage is.

I have a better idea. Why don’t you engage in a live debate with me, instead of writing that dumb paper on gay marriage?

BTW, if this is for high school, your paper should be DISALLOWED because it’s of a lewd nature.
