Such a leader is unpredictable. People don’t know what to expect or how he or she will react to questions, comments, suggestions, and problems. It is often the duty of the staff to take on the boss’s personality and enact his or her policy. If the leader is too complex, they may guess wrong and do things which he or she does not approve of. Everyone may become fatalistic and surrender all initiative to the leader. The leader will end up micromanaging everything and working harder than necessary. That is, unless the leader gives excellent orders and is good at delegating. If the leader is skillful, it may not matter that he or she has a complex personality.

he must have experienced a strict childhood life maybe because his dad was a strict disciplinarian.Another reason could be that he wants others to keep their distance.if he gets too close to them he is worried that they may take advantage of the situation which will be difficult for him to control.The other reason is that he is a closed person and very reserved. He can also feel insecure or rather have this inferiority complex.

a complex personality could mean this person is headstrong, will not take advice from people around and will not take all factors into consideration. hitler made all his own decisions look at him!!!
