what is a comprehensive essay?
Favorite Answer
Paragraph one: Introduction. Goals-reel the reader in, present the problem/question/topic, and state your thesis (with three different points you want to make).
Paragraph two-four: Body. State each of your points in separate paragraphs. Support with whatever information you have.
Paragraph five: Closer. Basically restate the introduction in a different and interesting way.
As for the “comprehensive” part, I’d say she wants most of your information to come from you. Telling what you think and your conclusions, not just regurgitating facts. Make sure you don’t put phrases like “I think” or “my opinion is”. State your thoughts like they are fact.
