What fallacies might this be and why?

While there seems to be a great deal of information available on the prevalence of crime in America, there is very little in the way of understanding, and even less in the way of solutions.

I have a rather different interpretation of your question than others. My understanding is that you want to know why the statement you provided above is a logical fallacy. So here’s my explanation:

Right off the bat, although it is stated that “there is very little in the way of understanding, and even less in the way of solutions,” there’s no explanation as to why that is the case. Simply put, it’s a fallacy because there’s no explanation or example provided for what is stated. This type of fallacy is also known as a “logical or factual error,” where insufficient support is provided for an argument.

The second half of the statement is also “confusing cause and effect.” It draws on the assumption that because “understanding,” and “solutions” regularly occur together, that they are correlated, when in fact, solutions can exist for a problem even without thorough understanding of the problem. This can also be an example of a similar type of fallacy known as, “questionable cause.” This is why the second half of the statement is a fallacy.

1) Humans are moral intelligent creatures. Nothing could be farther from the truth, any prolonged study of history or sociology will demonstrate that humans are biological driven instinctives just like every other animal on this planet.

2) Crime is absolutely negative. This is false it is only crimes committed against one self or your group that are bad. The US invasion of Iraq was totally illegal under international law that for-bides interference in the domestic affairs of other nations. The Us routinely ignores this and invades to change regimes. I’ve also hear the US whine and scream against others meddling in their domestic sphere. The genocide of native north Americans and the enslavement of the Blacks are other examples of US hypocrisy.

There is no solution to crime. All criminal acts can loosely be lumped together under one label “parasitic attacks”. In nature being a parasite is a valid survival option. Human governments and farming practices are parasitic, humans in general are parasites.

personal opinion: Crime is committed by the ignorant.

uneducated people commit most crimes.

If you are not taught goodness you may choose crime to make money or get what you want.

Many people feel cheated because they do not understand how others get ahead of them financially or own more than they do. They may wonder why some people have better lives than them or why other people seem so lucky.

Uneducated people choose the method they can rely on.

theft seems to pay so they steel. If they do not know how to earn it they may just take it.

Other people that think they can commit the perfect crime have allusions.
