I love winter and I love snow. One time when I was in my 20’s I had an opportunity to move to Alaska. I thought this would be my Heaven on earth. That was until I learned that the sun seldom shines and that it is night almost all the time. That quickly changed my mind.

So if I could own all of Antarctica you wouldn’t find ME there.

Just a little humor. I believe that it is too cold of a climate to find HUMANS there. I also believe that only hibernating or wooley animals could survive the cold there. For these reasons I also believe you would not find the common BIRDS there like cardinals, finches, hummingbirds, and birds that need heat to survive.
