Ok, in a nutshell:
Executive-the Prez, VP, and departments. They all make sure all U.S. laws are obeyed.
Legislative-includes the Senate, House of Reps and Congress; together, they’re the lawmakers. But sometimes the prez vetoes.
Judiciary-this branch upholds and defends laws. The court system.
Here is a brief and concise function of these branches of the government: the Legislative branch pass/formulate laws; the Executive implement the laws, and the Judiciary is incharge of justice system.
Judicial – Enforces the laws (Supreme Court)
Executive – Can veto and approve laws (led by the President)
