As a teacher, the most helpful tip I can give you is to pay attention in class, take notes, read the assignments, and complete all the homework.

Do extra research on the internet. Textbooks don’t always give the whole story. Volunteer to present something to the class that you have learned that isn’t in the text. Teachers are very impressed when a student goes beyond expectations.

Everyone has a “learning” style. Some people are fortunate enough to be able to read something one time and remember everything. Unfortunately, I was not one of those students, and, even as a teacher today, I have to read once, twice, and even three times. I highlight what I think is important to remember, I write these highlighted passages on paper, I type them into my computer, I record them onto tapes and listen to them in my car.

I have a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Education, and have been a teacher for over 40 years; but, that shouldn’t indicate to you that “learning” came easy to me. You know the way you learn best. Develop a strategy, and follow it.

I don’t really have anything

‘inspirational’ to say because to

tell you the truth i never really enjoyed

year 8 geography.

but i guess quizzes are a part of school

so here’s what i suggest you do

make yourself a summary book

with all the important ‘geographical’ terms

and their meanings. as well as bits

of information like a breif description

of a case study.

then whenever you have a test

you have that summary book to help you.

But you do have to keep it updated!

this ‘summary book’ also helps

in mathematics where you can list

all the equations you’ve learnt

well i hope that helped

goodluck in the quizzes!

hope you do better then i

did !

cheers xD

Try to make it fun. If you are interested in what you are studying you are more likely to study it more. You could do this by getting a globe game and fact books and such. Then once you are interested just keep studying and everything will come into place. If you are having a hard time becoming interested think of how it relates to you and how history shapes our future.

Ha I understand. ok check out the cyber web website under. It lists the difficulty-unfastened data concerning the 13 colonies. quite tahn attempting to %. I coloniy with ten super resons, i could record the appropriate super resons for residing contained in the colony of selection, then record resons to no longer stay contained in the others while you’re caught. My selection could definalty be Rhode Island. this could be a rapid sum of that’s orgins mutually as scattered Europeans began to settle the section as early as 1620, the 1st everlasting contract wasn’t commonly used until eventually 1636. In 1635 Roger Williams replaced into pushed from Salem, Massachusetts for espousing religious and political freedom. After spending the iciness with the Indians he ultimately offered land from the Narragansett Indians and settled in what’s now observed as providence. the hot colony grew to become a haven for those searching for religious freedom. In 1638, Anne Hutchinson, having been banned from Massachusetts, helped got here across Portsmouth, Rhode Island. a sparkling England Colony, Rhode Island replaced into commonly used as a company colony and gained a Royal “shape of Rhode Island and providence Plantations” in 1663. between different unique ensures, the form commonly used finished religious freedom in Rhode Island, which replaced into unusual on the time, and later formed the inspiration for comparable provisions contained in the U.S. shape. even inspite of the undeniable fact that Rhode Island replaced into between the 1st colonies to embody autonomy from the British and espouse innovative ideals, it replaced into the final of the 13 colonies to ratify the Federal shape and grew to become a State in 1790. even inspite of the undeniable fact that different colonies commonly used religous freedom, particularly some the time it replaced into satirically constrained religous freedom. working example, Massachusettes I belive in basic terms commonly used religous freedom for Catholics (i’m uncertain if it replaced into cotholics in basic terms-in spite of the shown fact that it replaced into definalty constrained). Anne and Roger have been the two persecuted for religous perspectives, so commonly used rhode Island. Rhode Island replaced into the 1st to truly set up religous freedom. It replaced right into a Northern Colony and inspite of the undeniable fact that the Northern colonies had undesirable soil, they made an excellent earnings off of commerce, and Rhode Island replaced into suitable on the water
