what are Pros and Cons for closing schools during a bad weather?
what do u think would be pros and cons for closing US schools during a bad weather ( such as ice, snow, ets) ?

-no school – yay!
-extra day to catch up on homework/projects
-extra sleep
-prevents accidents
-prevents worry (of parents)
-no having to fight traffic in cruddy weather (teachers)
Cons
-messes up lesson/teaching plans
-could push classes behind (moreso if they already are)
-parents of younger kids need to rush to find sitters
-people miss work if they cant find sitters
-kids running around raising heck

The pros are obvious
The cons, if it is closed unnecessarily the district will be spoken of badly, like being soft on education. Also if they close too many days, the students MUST make them up.
