i agree with you 100% when i was in the military i saw many people full of silliness when handeling their weapons. one of the guys i knew got peeved off and threw his glock down and shot a hole threw the wall and almost shot the guy he was protecting also there were are few people that were screwing around with the 50 cal and ended up injuring a few guys and killing one by not being responsable and not using the proper safety SOP you are correct people need to understand that everything can malfunction and need to practice weapon safety to the fullest you are the number one safety when it comes to your weapon.

Only a fool assumes that a gun is completely safe just because the safety is on. The man/woman shooter is ultimately responsible for the safety of his/her weapon. Do not depend solely on the mechanical safety, practice good safe gun handling rules.
