1. Math is used in chemistry to balance equations. Molecules and atoms react proportionately.

2. Math is used in physics. Physics is filled with formulas about how the universe works.

3. Math is used in the Hardy-Weinberg equation which is used in genetics.

4. NASA uses math all the time.

5. Mathematical modeling. Models can be built so that a system of equations can show interactions in ecology, cells, DNA, and even how viruses effects the body and so much more.

6. Dynamics and Chaos. Dynamical systems can represent how things work in science. They can show how predator-prey interactions can lead to chaos within a population. Even orbiting planets are a form of dynamical system. An understanding of bifurcation models can be used for this.

7. Measurements. Measurements are taken all the time in science. From measuring the acidity of water to measuring distances.

8. Cancer research. Mathematical models can again be used. They can model a cell on its own or a population of cells in a body. A system of differential equations can be used to show how cancer treatment works and can be detailed enough to differentiate between different cancer treatments and different types of tissue that is cancerous.

9. Bioinformatics. This field studies biology from a math perspective. An example of this is how protein folding is studied using probability and equations.

10. Cellular automata. Cellular automata are studied to show many things. These can show geometric patterns in fields such as chemistry. The Belousov-Zhabotinsky reaction can simulate cellular automata.
