“Western Civilization” by Jackson Spielvogel Outline or STUDY GUIDE or OUTLINE needed?

Does anyone have an outline for “Western Civilization” by Jackson J. Spielvogel, or possibly a site for a study guide? Typed notes would be AMAZING. Thanks.

i used that book when i took AP European History, and if i remember correctly, there were little chapter summaries in the back of each chapter. that would probably be able to give you a basic overview of each chapter, but i would strongly recommend reading it. it was fairly dry but there is a lot of information in each section and you won’t do as well on quizzes or tests without that information.

No. Allow me to quote from the book cited below: Through the centuries, the Christian church has been divided over these questions about baptism: Is water baptism for today? Who should be baptized? How should they be baptized? Is baptism necessary for salvation? Despite the great divergency of opinion on the doctrine of baptism, there is wide agreement on several things. First, there is no doubt that Christians should practice water baptism. Second, baptism is a command of Christ, and it should be obeyed. Third, baptism should be done today in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Fourth, it should be done by water. Fifth, even at exclusivistic and emphatic as Catholic dogma may seem, even Catholics admit that one can be saved apart from baptism (by the INTENT to be baptized). This means that baptism is not an ABSOLUTE necessity to be saved, but rather, a NORMATIVE one. The efficacy of baptism, particularly by those who consider it necessary for salvation, is a more serious doctrinal matter. But even here, as long as one believes in the necessity of God’s grace and our faith, the debate need not involve a heresy on either side. MARANATHA! Come, Lord Jesus, COME!
