Those are really easy if you wrote those the right way. You just have to multiply the two. Unless you wrote the problem wrong but I used to do these problems when just starting distributive property. But yeah I dont wanna confuse you. Just take a calculator and multiply the number outside parenthesis but the number in them. So the first problem: 2 x 19= 38.

Now later on in the lesson you’ll start getting some problems like these:

2(3+5)

What you would do is multiply the outside number(2) by the first inside one (3). And then multiply 2 by 5. You should end up with 6+10. The answer is then 16. Hopefully I didnt confused you though. You dont have to worry about this part yet. But good luck!

WTF?!

I’m not gonna do ur freakin homework for you! If you wanna go on through life- u gotta know how to do this! It will get a lot harder than this! What grade is this anyway????? like 3rd?

But i will help you by giving you the first one!

13. fyi…. * = multiply

2(19)

1 < (carried 1) 19 _*_2__ < (that's supposed to be a line..lol) 38 I first started with 9 & 2 .... 9*2=18 so i put the 8 down and carried the 1 Then i multiplied 2*1= 2 But u also have to add the carried 1 so that makes it 3. So your answer is 38! I hope i helped you- and i hope u get a 100%!!!

They are all pretty much the same. Rewrite what’s in parenthesis as the sum or difference of two numbers, one of which ends in zero. Like on #15:

(20 + 2)2 = 40 + 4 = 44

Of course I’m not going to do your homework for you, but I’ll tell you how it’s done.

I’ll use the first problem as an example.

Just multiply.

2 * 19 = 38

That’s all. Multiply the value inside the parentheses and the value attached to the parentheses to get the rest.

13. 2 x 19

14. 5 x 31

15. 22 x 2

16. 13 x 6

17. 8×26

18. 34 x 6

Solve those yourself. Making people do your own work is just like stealing other people’s hard work and claiming it as yourself.

It’s easy as that.

Maybe someone should listen in class.. coughcough.
