[Branches of Government]
The Founding Fathers, the framers of the Constitution, wanted to form a government that did not allow one person to have too much authority or control. While under the rule of the British king they learned that this could be a bad system. Yet government under the Articles of Confederation taught them that there was a need for a strong centralized government.
With this in mind the framers wrote the Constitution to provide for a separation of powers, or three separate branches of government. Each has its own responsibilities and at the same time they work together to make the country run smoothly and to assure that the rights of citizens are not ignored or disallowed. This is done through checks and balances. A branch may use its powers to check the powers of the other two in order to maintain a balance of power among the three branches of government. The three branches of the U.S. Government are the legislative, executive, and judicial.

Grivences, were taxes, no say in parliment, and limitations on trade.
Do not know about Paine I thought because of unalienable rights and unfair taxes. Everyone deserves freedom.
Exsecuative-president -signes laws and makes them bills
Legislate-Congress, makes laws
Judicial-courts enforces laws
Natural rights are what we are naturally supposed to have and they are Life, Liberty, and the ersuite of happiness. The Philoopher was John Locke
1. The French and Indian war put Great Britain into dept and they raised taxes in the colonies to pay it off. This was what lead to the taxation problems.
2. One grievance in the Declaration was taxation without representation.
3. The Executive branch is the President and etc…
4. Natural rights were written about by John Lock. He talks about the freedoms you are born with and the governments responsibilty to protect them. There is a famouse quote “Man is born free but everywhere he is in chains.”
Hope that helps
