to kill a mockingbird questions?

would this be a metaphor

“Remember it’s a sin to kill a mockingbird.” That was the only time I ever heard Atticus say it was a sin to do something, and I asked Miss Maudie about it.

“Your father’s right,” she said. “Mockingbirds don’t do one thing but make music for us to enjoy …but sing their hearts out for us. That’s why it’s a sin to kill a mockingbird.”

what are the major conflicts? would this be some?

external- tom robinson and bob ewell (man vs man)

boo radley and maycomb (man vs nature)

internal- atticus choosing to defend tom robinson?

thank you.

~First, identify all the mockingbirds that Harper Lee kills in the book. Is it really a sin or just a symptom of growth? The conflicts are too obvious to address. If you can’t identify them, read the book. You may be still struggling with the most basic of them, that of maturity vs childish naivety. If you can overcome that one, you will be on the way to learning to read and comprehend. Believe it or not, the book is not about racism except on the most superficial level.

i think of To Kill a Mockingbird is an magnificent e book! i’m uncertain if it in my opinion replaced me, however the factors that it made fairly hit me. like the section the place Scout and Jem try to confirm the social classes of individuals in Maycomb, and Scout says “perhaps there is purely a million form…individuals” This e book fairly makes the element that one and all adult adult males are created equivalent. human beings could be judged by skill of what style of man or woman they’re, what lies of their hearts. no longer by skill of the colour of their epidermis, the section they stay, or the kin they have been born into. additionally, Atticus Finch’s line “do no longer decide a guy till you have been in his footwear and walked around slightly” the youngsters judged Arthur “Boo” Radley slightly too without postpone, yet on the tip Scout found that he grow to be no longer something yet a lonely guy, doing no longer something yet helping them. To Kill a Mockingbird made maximum of social statements, and that i think of each and every physique could study it….grownups, toddlers, this is purely a great e book!

yes that is a metaphor. it isnt literally saying that it is a sin to kill a mocking bird but rather giving the underlying mesege in terms the reader or listener to his words can understand. if you harm, lock away someone who only gives good to the community, that is a bad thing or a sin.

there are lots of conflicts yes racism is one of them.
