Three Algebra questions that I desperately need help figuring out?

I need help with three separate problems. It would be nice if you could show me how you figured out the answers. Thanks!

1) E = I (R+r) solve for r

2) -2 (x+7) is greater or equal to 3 (x+2)

3) 4x- (5+2x) is less than 3x-1

For 1) you need to isolate the r, so expand the right side: IR + Ir. Now subtract IR from both sides: E – IR = Ir. From this point you can solve for the r

2) Expand and set up: -2x – 14 >= 3x + 6; now group like-terms: -20 >= 5x, or 5x <= -20, and x <= -4 3) Same principle as 2): you do it.
