The length of a rectangle is 2 cm more than 5 times its width.
L=5w+2
A=Lw=65 cm^2
Replace L with 5w+2 in the second formula. You will get:
(5w+2)w=65
5w^2+2w-65=0
Solve this quadratic equation
w=[-2+sqrt(4+1300)]/10=(-2+36.11 )/10=34.11/10=3.411 cm
L=5w+2=5(3.411)+2=19.055 cm
