The domain and range of this circle?
I recently had this circle on a test and I got the range wrong. My answer for the domain was [-1, 3] which she seemed to have marked correct and my answer for the range was [1, -2] which she marked wrong.
I made a makeshift graph here: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v471/Rathi04/graph.jpg
Any help is appriciated, and note that the graph is not using decimals or anything that exact.

your range is incorrect because the top of the circle is not in over the x axis which would make it positive. It is below the x axis so it should start with a negative value.
The value is hard to read but i would say its a (-0.25, -2)
Hope that helps

Only functions have domains and ranges. A circle is not a function.

Yes, that is wrong. Domain is the X value and the Range is the Y value. It should have been [0, -2].
