The complement of angle A is the number of degrees you need to add to A to get 90 degrees.
The supplement of angle A is the number of degrees you need to add to A to get 180 degrees.
On one side you have the complement and on the other you have the supplement divided by 2, with 20 subtracted. Set those equal to each other to find the numerical value of A in degrees.

i believe it is 1/2 of the supplement minus 20 becuz the compliment is 20 less than half the supplement, u just subtract it. i dont think that there can be a numerical answer with the information given, so i believe that is it.
1/2 x supplement – 20
