make it interesting for your audience, not one that will put them to sleep! make sure you are enthusiastic about the topic. dont speak to fast nor too slow. I did one at the start of the year also using power point thats a good way! (if your allowed presentation!) good luck!!!!

I took speech in college and the best way to present a pursuasive speech is pick something you feel strongly about. We had a student who had just gone through the police acadamy he didn’t pursuade me on it but he gave his speech on the death penalty he felt it was wrong I don’t. Remember that you are trying to get people to agree with you so I would pick something that would be easy like pursuading people that drinking soda’s are bad for you or that eating fast food will make you gain weight It is hard to keep it from becoming an informative speech so make sure you know the difference. right now the war is a hot topic and health care with Hillary Clinton. I would stay away from religion and politics people are pretty much set on their beliefs. Hope this helps
