Solving 2 Step Equations?
Okay… I’m having trouble with just one and I’m not sure what I am doing wrong. I know that my answer needs to be -6, but I don’t know how to get that… (We have to show our work). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

First and foremost, you have the wrong answer.
Add 3y to each side of the equation.
Subtract 15 from each side of the equation.
You now have a constant number on one side, and 3y on the other side. How do you get rid of the 3? Do that, and you’re done.
