Solve for d…?

I can’t for the life of me remember how to solve for a variable in a fraction.

Solve for d:

(C / 5d) = C + (b / dC)

Oh and if anybody could tell me if I did this one right it would be appreciated!

5^x – 5^4x -7x^3 + 8x^4 – 5^2x (Add or subtract whenever possible.)

My answer:

8x^4 – 7x^3 – 5x^4 – 5^x (Can you do something more with the last two terms to combine them?)

Thanks so much!

(C / 5d) = C + (b / dC)

c/5d – b/dc = c

(c^2- 5b) / 5dc = c

c^2 – 5b = 5dc^2

5d = (c^2-5b)/ c^2

5d = 1 – 5b/c^2

d = 1/5 – b/c^2
