Solve 8t+11=7t-6…?
Favorite Answer
8t-7t = -6-11
1t = -17
t = -17
Since you’re looking for the value of t, transfer all variables containing t to one side of the equation. Remember that if you transfer a variable to the other side, its sign will be negated. Notice the sign of 7t, when I transferred it to the left side of the equation, it became -7t. The same is true with the number 11. Transferring it to the right side makes its value -11. Then do the necessary operations, voila! You get the value of t. ^_^
.1p+2.1=4.6p-1.9+.5p
.1p – 4.6p – .5p = -1.9 -2.1
-5p = -4
p = -4/-5
p = 4/5 or 0.8
Both are negative values, so the (-) sign will be cancelled out
subtract 11 from both sides and u get:
8t = 7t – 5
then subtract 7t from both sides and u get:
1t = -5
to check plug -5 into the t’s in the equation and itll look like:
8(-5) + 11 = 7(-5) + 6
= -40+11 = -35+6
= -29= -29
-7t -7t subtract 7t from both sides
1t+11=-6
-11 -11 subtract 11 from both sides
t=-17
the answer is t= -17
answer is :::: t=17
you need to add 6 on both sides and subtract 7t on both sides either…
