B Bracket
O Order
D Division
M Multiplication
A Addition
S Subtraction
first you need to put in all the * – + etc in the right places to make it simpler then, you have to solve whichever letter comes first, in this case the items in the B brackets
so..
41 – [3 (6 -3)] becomes
41 – [3 * (6 – 3)]
41 – [3 * 3] then M comes before S so multiplication before subtraction
41 – [9] {3 * 3 = 9} then now Subtraction
41 – 9 = 32 sweet!
Hope it helps. All the best!
(6 – 3) = 3
then multiply 3 & 3 inside the next set of parenthesis.
3 * 3 = 9
41 – 9 = 32. your answer is 32.
