Science questions help?

Explain in terms of density why a grocery bag containing all canned goods is harder to lift than a grocery bad containing all paper goods?

What is the three-part process for problem solving?

How are degrees Celsius converted to Kelvins?

The reason i don’t know the answers is because i’m new to my Chemistry class and i’m falling behind…please help? and thanks…

Density is defined as mass/volume, looking at this equation you can see that density and mass are proportional (if the density is greater so to must be the mass in order to nake the equation true). so canned goods are denser than paper goods because they have a greater mass yet take up the same volume. So solving a problem would involve calculating the mass, using D=m/v solve for m: m=DxV just multiply the density and volume of the shopping bag and compare the masses. If you dont know the volume of the bag use this equation LxWxH=V

Converting degrees C to K just add 273.15

If the problem is math related, this might apply:

Solving a mathematical problem involves three basic steps that are common to all types:

Comprehend what the problem is asking.

Abstract the problem, find a mathematical expression that represents the problem, and solve it.

Understand what the solution means and implicates.

i can answer the third one.

x degrees Celsius plus 273.15 = y degrees Kelvins

simple huh?

so 34 C + 273.15 = 307.15 K
