Samil Jol???
My friend was trying to do her history paper and got a person named samil jol but we havent been able to find any info on him and thought it might me a typo when the teacher gave her the name. Does anyone have any idea as to who this person is or someone with a similar name from the french revolution?

I have searching it up and it pop up about Samil Jol is being a day for Koreans. My guess is that couldn’t be a typo since it has to do something about history .. BUT ! that isnt a name for a person, to me it look like a holiday. lol
Independence Movement Day : South Korea. Known also as Three-One Day, or Samil-Jol, this day commemorates the March 1, 1919 movement of massive demonstrations against Japanese rule. Japan, which had annexed Korea in 1910, suppressed the movement, and it was not until the end of World War II that Korea became independent, and then only as the two separate states of North and South Korea, divided at the 38th parallel.
