Question about multiplying and dividing radicals?

They’re pretty simple, I just need to know the basics on how to multiply and divide radicals.

1.) 5 √5 x 3 √3

2.) 3 / 2 √2

Can you please give me the answer and how you got it? Thank you!

You can multiply radicals.

You will multiply the numbers outside of the radical sign 5 X 3 = 15 and then the numbers inside the radicals sq rt 5 X sq rt 3 = sq rt 15.

For the division problem you need to remove the radical from the denominator. To do that you need to multiply the top and the bottom of the fraction by sq rt 2.

3 sq rt 2/2 sq rt X 2 sq rt

you get 3 sq rt 2/4
