You can get all that information on Wikipedia.

Here are the links:

John Wycliffe http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Wycliffe

John Huss http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Huss

The Avignon Papacy http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Avignon_Papacy

Wycliffe and Huss really didn’t start the Protestant Reformation – it was their ideas were around at the time Martin Luther posting his 95 Thesis on the door of Castle Church in Wittenburg in 1517 (see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_95_Theses ) which helped lead to the ground work that caused the Protestant Reformation. Their challenges to Papal authority it is argued by some helped set the stage – but this is not shared by all because their ideas were not widely understood among the general public in Europe.

Good Luck!!!
