Proofreading Help!! PLEASE!?

I’ve read only two of my summer books because I am having REAL trouble doing my papers. I read Lord of the Flies [WHICH I UNDERSTOOD] and Cat on a Hot Tin Roof [ALSO UNDERSTOOD] and I’m just not satisfied with my FIRST page of my paper and I really need someone to proofread it and let me know what they think!! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE! I procrastinated and only have about 2 weeks to read All the King’s Men, Cannery Row, and Strangers in Strange Land and write 4, yes FOUR, pages for EACH book. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!

hmm… well, let this be a lesson to start earlier next time. The whole point of summer reading is to read the books over the summer…. the whole duration of the summer, not the end…. and if you were wise enough, at the beginning of the summer… so that you know things are going to be done, and if you got it done first and finished earlier, then the remainder of the summer is yours.

But…. let this be a lesson…. having procrastinated and waited to the last 2 weeks to do everything…. you will just have to pay the consequences. It is high time we put you to work…. and you yourself put yourself in this situation…. and because of that, it is you alone who will have to dig yourself out of this and find a way out. Usually people work first and then play…. but if that’s how you preferred to do things against the norm, well so be it. You played… now you must work.

It is you who will determine your future. If you plan on making procrastination a career, well you are doing a fine job about that… but continued procrastination is going to land you NO JOB. Because, although you think that this is just school, it is practice and training for the bigger grown-up world, just on a smaller scale. Your teachers are your future bosses and supervisors, the people to whom you will have to answer and report. The homework assignments and the research that you have to do… and yes though darn things called tests and quizzes…. in the real world when you have a job, EVERY DAY is a test… EVERYDAY is a quiz…. EVERYDAY there is homework and tasks to be completed. If you don’t, then you get fired…. no if’s, and’s, or but’s… And being fired is just the same as failing your classes, failing your quizzes, doing sloppy jobs on your projects, and failing your subjects. The thing though is, in the real world, no one will care or give a hoot to your stumblings. No pain, no gain. You work to put food on the table. You procrastinate and do sloppy work, you go hungry. What you put in is what you reap out.

Yeah, they say that school how you do there, it’s a good indicator of how well you will do in the real world. And as it looks, things look very grim for you. Hopeless, unless you start taking responsibility and shape up.

As the well-known saying goes, “There’s no such thing as a free lunch.” Another saying also says, “You reap what you sow.”

With using the word Procrastinated, Im sure you wont have any trouble completing this assignment. Let all your friends and parties go for the next two weeks while you try to accomplish that which you have had plenty of time to do it in. Lock your self in your own room and disconnect the phone and computer. goodluck and procrastinate no more.
