please revise this paragraph and edit some words please homework?

In the world’s view, people would never give their children as a sacrifice. That is as if their hopes are gone. But, Abraham gave up his child. That is the true believers’ attitude. It takes a long time to believe in Jesus. If you are a new believer, you would simply pray to God for giving money more. But the pray wasn’t responded, then the new believer would think God isn’t here. He is just a false god. But you have to have patience as well as what Jesus has done for you in the past. Then, you can thank him no matter what or no matter where you are.

To this:

In the world’s view, people would never give their children as a sacrifice. Sacrificing is as if their hopes are gone. But, Abraham being a believer gave up his child, because that is the attitude of a true believer. It takes a long time to believe in Jesus. If you are a new believer, you would simply pray to God to be blessed with more money. But if the prayer wasn’t answered, the new believer may think God isn’t really there and is a false god. But you have to have patience in being a believer as well as appreciating what Jesus has done for you in the past. Then, you can thank Him no matter what or no matter where you are.
