G’day Katiecos,

Thank you for your question.

This looks like an essay topic to me. I would write about the impact of chemistry on industries such as plastics, pharmaceuticals and mrtals, the impact of pharmaceuticals on world health, the impact of weapons such as explosives and in ancient history the impact of new forms of working metal ie the stone age, bronze age and iron age.

I have attached sources for your reference.

Regards

Chemistry has improved the DNA. To find criminals. It helps in every day life. Such as the medication I’m on right now for a fracture in my tail bone. Absolutely no pain. But I took it with coffee and it seemed to get on my tongue. So now I can barely hold my eyes open and when I walk I feel as if I’m drunk. This has never happened to me. Is it because the heat of the coffee? wow wow !!! Chemistry will get you a really high paying job. That’s all that matters. right!

Just about everything has something to do with chemistry. Your shampoo, the glue that holds parts of your car together, the food you eat (some of it), etc… and oh yeah, FIRE. FIRE FIRE, thats chemistry. Fire and the invention of the wheel and a few other things are what allowed humans to start to farm therfore making civilization possible. Chemistry today only improves the way we live our lives. Hope this helps!

Wow, big question.

It is thought that perhaps chemical reactions having to do with atmospheric collisions of hydrogen and oxygen and salt, ( NaCl) were what drew water onto the earth which made the environment suitable for life.

Chemical reactions in the watery soup then formed life on Earth. I happen to believe God was in control of all this as it is too great of circumstancial coincidences to just ‘happen’.

Cavemen used the chemical reaction of heat to make the first fires.

Basic chemical reactions, once observed, understood, and controlled, were used in the very beginning of medicine to treat the sick and injured.

Chemistry was used early on to forge metals to create golden statues and body armor/swords for using in political influence and wars.

Chemistry was used to flavor foods with spices….and were a big reason people traveled…..to ship spices from far away to season food for Royalty ….causing the far reaches of the world to be explored in search of rare and delicate spices.

These are just a few….there are many many more.
