Brett’s father is 4x as old as Brett is now. In 4 years Brett will be 1/3 his father’s age..How old are they now?

to figure this out you need to find an answer that is divisable by 3 and 4. 12, 24, 36, 48
first one that works is 36 for this problem
For now the father is 32, the son is 8 4×8 = 32
in four years the son will be 12 the dad 36 3x 12 = 36
