These are very general questions. I would think that you already have a story or other work that you need to apply. Can you describe the context for us? Also, this appears to be the entire essay assignment — where do you need *help*? The leading questions seem like a good start to me, once you’ve read the assigned work (book, play, article, chapter, or whatever).
Let us know what you have so far, and where you’re getting stuck. As the assignment suggests, start with your own feelings (or perhaps the feelings you think the character(s) have in that situation). Would you do the same thing the central character did? If you had time to think about the situation before it happened, would you handle it differently? Would you *want* to handle it differently?
